Swift COVID-19/Coronavirus Resources for Truck Drivers

One-stop resource for all things related to trucking during these uncertain times

At Swift, we understand this is a very uncertain time in the country. Nevertheless, we couldn't be more proud to know we have the best drivers in the industry delivering food, goods, and supplies coast-to-coast. Drivers are our heroes today and everyday — they are on the frontlines. They're going the extra mile to deliver loads, day and night, so that store shelves are stocked, and America has the goods that they need. Our financial strength has enabled us to provide stability to all of our employees, and we understand that the country needs us now more than ever. Below are a few useful resources that drivers can refer to for supplemental support during this pandemic.

Supporting our Drivers

KNX Terminal Access

Drivers, please know that you have access to all Swift Transportation, Knight Transportation, Barr-Nunn Transportation and Abeline Motor Express terminals if needed. Below is a list of each company’s terminal locations. Please contact your Driver Leader for details.

Well-being Medical Support

It is critical to know that at Swift, you are not alone and have resources to support your mental and physical well-being. Please checkout the portal for a Swift Well-being Resource document that includes telehealth information, virtual fitness classes and more.

Face Covering Mandates

LAREDO, TX: The city of Laredo, Texas has mandated anyone in public to cover their nose and mouth. This includes fuel stops, food takeout, and customer deliveries. The covering can include a face mask, bandana, scarf or any fabric that will cover your nose and mouth. Violations of this law will face up to $1,000 fine by local authorities.

LOS ANGELES, CA: Los Angeles residents must wear a face mask, bandanna, or other type of covering.

This has been been communicated to all our Driving Associates via Qualcomm.

Terminal Provisions

We understand that our drivers are out on the road for extended periods of time and are unable to gather supplies. We have designated 25 locations across the Knight-Swift network as driver supply points. These locations will be stocked with cases of water, non-perishable food, and personal items. As deliveries come in, we will keep you up to date on which locations are fully stocked. All drivers are welcome to go to any location across all brands for supplies. More details are available on the Driver Portals.
