2009 wigs

BXT's central focus for 2009 is to Change the Way We Think and
Behave. We want everyone at Swift to start thinking about things
differently – what we did yesterday is no longer enough. we believe the best answers are found within the hearts and minds of our people.  we look forward to the day when all swift team members are re-inventing, re-defining, re-discovering and re-creating world class processes each day.

 

A WIG is a Wildly Important Goal. To achieve this goal we set up three WIGs:

• "Changing Thinking by Doing"

• "Communicating the Progress"

• "Building People"
  

We feel strongly that in order for people to change the way they think and behave we must change their experiences. We believe that the more PROJECTS people are involved in, the more likely they are to change their behaviors; the more RESULTS they see from other projects that have occurred, the more likely they are to believe that change is possible and finally the more TRAINING they receive on the tools and methods we use, the more likely they are to change they way they do things.
